Company Settings
The global settings for the company or merchant are configured here. Users can switch the company positioning at the top to manage basic settings for the devices allocated to the company. Currently, the settings include:
1. Ora Automatic Update
- When enabled, if there is a new version of Ora, it will be automatically downloaded and updated.
- When disabled, users can manually download and install the update through the device command (
Ora update
).
2. Device Update Time Period (Local Time)
- Defines the time period during which the device is allowed to execute Ora automatic updates and image automatic updates (image updates are supported only for specific devices).
- Once a new version of Ora or an image becomes available, the device will perform the download and update within this specified time frame.
3. Company Default Naming Rules
- This feature allows users to set and apply naming rules to devices managed by the company.
- Automatic Naming:
- When a device is installed and activated with Ora, its name will be automatically generated based on the applied naming rules.
- If a merchant does not have any naming rules applied, the company's default naming rules will be used.
- Each device operating system will apply to one company naming rule and cannot be deleted. If you do not wish for the device to be automatically named, you can "disable" the rule.
- Users can also click "Edit" to adjust the default naming method.
